84-Year-Old Inventor Strikes Gold with Word Game

After around 40 failed inventions, George Weiss, an 84-year-old wallpaper hanger from Brooklyn, NY, has finally hit it big, reports the NYDailyNews.com.  Dabble, Weiss’ new word game, is in 42 stores nationwide and just won the 2011 Game of the Year Award from Creative Child Magazine in the Family Word Games category.  While Weiss claims the idea for Dabble just came to him one day, it’s the product of years of dedication to his hobby of invention.   He advises aspiring inventors to “never give up”  as long as they’re passionate about what they’re doing.  Read the full article here.
