Bruce Dickinson, the 53-year-old lead singer for the heavy metal rock band Iron Maiden, plans to open an aviation center in South Wales that he says will create up to 1,000 new jobs.
Dickinson, who has sold more than 85 million records worldwide, is also a licensed commercial airline pilot. His new company, Cardiff Aviation, will provide specialist support services to the airline industry.
